The story
the more i spoke to other women, the more i realised — we were all feeling the same thing.
a few years ago, my husband and i packed up our lives and moved to london. it was everything i'd hoped for — exciting, full of possibility, a real adventure. and then slowly, quietly, the loneliness crept in.
i'd find myself surrounded by people and still feel like i hadn't really connected with anyone. i started talking to other women about it, almost cautiously at first — and every single time, i'd hear some version of the same thing back. me too.
so i started doing something about it. i began hosting small get-togethers — breakfasts, pottery mornings, walks along the river. just gathering women together. and something really beautiful kept happening every time.
gathered grew from that feeling. the belief that connection is out there, it just needs a place to happen. and that every woman deserves to find her people.
