Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Gathered app. By creating an account or using any part of our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Gathered.
Gathered App Ltd ("Gathered", "we", "us", "our") is a marketplace platform that connects women with in-person community events and gatherings. We provide the technology and tools to allow Community Leaders to list and host events, and Attendees to discover and book them.
Gathered is a platform intermediary. We are not the organiser of any event listed on the platform unless explicitly stated. The contract for attendance at any event is between the Attendee and the Community Leader.

To access Gathered's features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
You may not create more than one account or create an account on behalf of another person without their consent.
These terms apply to users who register as Community Leaders and list events on the Gathered platform.
As a Community Leader, you may list events ('Gatherings') on the platform. By doing so, you confirm that:
Gathered charges a platform commission of 5% on the face value of each paid ticket sold through the platform. This fee is deducted automatically at the point of transaction via Stripe Connect. In addition, Stripe's standard payment processing fees apply separately and are charged by Stripe directly.
Free events are not subject to any commission.
Payments from ticket sales, net of Gathered's 5% commission and Stripe's processing fees, will be paid out to your connected Stripe account in accordance with Stripe's standard payout schedule. You are responsible for setting up and maintaining a valid Stripe Connect account to receive payouts.
If you need to cancel or materially change an event (including date, time, location, or format), you must:
Gathered reserves the right to remove listings or suspend Community Leader accounts where events are repeatedly cancelled, refunds are not processed in good faith, or where we receive significant complaints about an event or leader.
Community Leaders are responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment at their events. You must not:
When you book a paid event, you enter into a direct agreement with the Community Leader for that event. Gathered facilitates the booking and payment process but is not a party to that agreement.
By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to any event-specific terms set by the Community Leader, including their refund and cancellation policy.
When attending any Gathering, you must:
Gathered reserves the right to remove users from the platform if their conduct at events or within the app falls short of these standards.
Some events on Gathered may involve alcohol or age-restricted activities. By booking such events, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over and may be required to provide valid ID upon entry. Failure to provide ID where requested may result in you being refused entry with no right to a refund.
Users — both Attendees and Community Leaders — may submit content to the platform, including event descriptions, photos, bios, and reviews ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you:

Gathered reserves the right to remove any content that breaches these standards without notice.
We aim to keep the Gathered app available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the platform at any time, with or without notice. Where possible, we will give reasonable advance notice of significant changes.
All intellectual property in the Gathered app, website, branding, and content created by us (including the name "Gathered", our logo, design, and written content) is owned by Gathered App Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at gathercommunity@outlook.com. Termination does not affect any outstanding obligations, including payment of outstanding fees.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We encourage users to contact us in the first instance at gathercommunity@outlook.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally before pursuing formal proceedings.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. Continued use of Gathered after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
